Here is the Nelson School of Music. This is special to many of us because we have performed on stage here.
From the Cathedral steps we could see Symon's Lamp. This was once blown apart may years ago from a combination of a gas leak and a naked flame. It has been restored to its former glory and it stands proudly on Trafalgar Street.
We stopped to have our kai on the Cathedral steps. We noted that they use to be wooden steps!
At the Museum we acted out some Maori legends with a parent helping us.
