Cultural Diversity

This term we have been learning about cultures from other countries. We have been interviewing some friends and family to find out more.
We have had Tawa's mum come and talk about The Netherlands, friends from NMIT to talk about China and yesterday Darwyne's brother and mum came to talk about the Philippines.

Humphrey's Birthday!

This week it was Humphrey's birthday. He was 6 years old on Friday!
To celebrate his birthday we had a party.We gave presents and cards to Humphrey, had special party food, played games, some of us dressed in party clothes and we sang 'Happy Birthday' while Humphrey was making a wish to blow out the candles on his cake. We had a wondeful time. Humphrey even had 'trick' candles on his cake that wouldn't blow out. We did't get the hose though... Neroli put the candles under the tap!

Holidays

We have been using Kidpixs to illustrate our holiday pictures. Denver went to Wellington on the Interislander Ferry. What a super picture Denver!
